Screw Hook Installation :-
The screw in the poultry feed machine is fitted in a certain way. For the feed pans, the recommended distance between the drops is 8” on center. On drop lines, one should not surpass 10’ spacing. Between the drop spacing, if the distance raised is greater, then on side of the line to stop the cable clamps from interfering with pulleys, the offset hook is set at 3”. To stop the bending, one needs to coil the fastener into the truss with the complete extent of the threads. When the winch raises the feeder line, the notch of the screw hook must be directed away from the track of travel of the machine.
Installation Dropping :-
To each hook, one needs to attach a 1- 7/8” pulley or larger. Towards the winch, one needs to thread the end of the drop through the pulley. By using a 3/16”aluminum sleeve or 3/16” cable clamp, one needs to clamp the end to the main line about 6” from the last pulley. For the installation of the adjustment level, one needs to permit drop length. On drops located near and beneath the winch, sufficient cable is included to provide double back up for the machinery.
Safety Information :-
To warn of the probable dangerous situations, danger decals warning and caution have been placed on the equipment. One needs to replace the damaged or missing safety signs. Before the servicing of the unit, one needs to disconnect the power to safeguard the personals from injury. Of the poultry auger control unit, the decal is placed on the cleanout cover. The consultants suggest that all the electrical wiring should be done by a qualified electrician. To guard against the shock, one needs to ground all non- current carrying metal parts. Overprotected, current and electrical disconnects are not supplied with equipment, with an exception of motor overload.
